Literature Literacy through Drama Immersion in Upper Elementary

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Teaching literacy is difficult at any time, but by using drama immersion, classic stories can come alive. Drama immersion uses no scripts, but rather immerses students as players in the story. Mary will show you her techniques in a hands on drama experience. She will also show you how she uses A Christmas Carol to start discussions about Social Justice with her students.
